Für Elise was composed by Beethoven around 1810, but only published in 1867, forty years after his death. The identity of the mysterious "Elise" remains unknown to this day. It is one of the most frequently played piano pieces in the world. The music mechanism is mounted on a small wooden board, which gives the melody a louder and fuller sound.
