La Primavera (Spring) is the first and most famous movement from Vivaldi's The Four Seasons (1725). With its cheerful, soaring violin melody, it is one of the most frequently played pieces of classical music ever and immediately evokes the awakening of spring.
The music mechanism is mounted on a small wooden plank, which gives the melody a louder sound.
