The Pink Panther Theme was composed by Henry Mancini in 1963 for the film of the same name, starring Peter Sellers as the bumbling Inspector Clouseau. With that unmistakable, creeping saxophone motif, it is one of the most recognisable jazzy film themes ever. Mancini won a Grammy for it. The music mechanism is mounted on a small wooden board, giving the melody a louder and fuller sound.
