The Pink Panther Theme was composed by Henry Mancini in 1963 for the film of the same name starring Peter Sellers as the bumbling Inspector Clouseau. With its unmistakable creeping saxophone motif, it is one of the most recognizable jazzy film themes ever. Mancini won a Grammy for it. The music mechanism is mounted on a small wooden board, which gives the melody a louder and fuller sound.
