"Daar Wordt aan de Deur Geklopt" is one of the most famous Sinterklaas tunes in the Netherlands, set to the melody of the Austrian folk tune "O du lieber Augustin" (circa 1679). That song is also considered the first popular song consciously written in a minor key.
