Rubber trees:
All Plan Toys products are made from natural rubber trees that no longer produce latex. To keep the wood pure, no artificial fertiliser is added to the soil for three years prior to felling.
Plan Wood:
Plan Wood is another high-quality, safe and sustainable material used in their toy manufacturing process. This material is used in conjunction with solid rubberwood.
Chemical-free oven-drying:
To strengthen the wood, Plan Toys uses a chemical-free oven-drying process.
Formaldehyde-free glue:
Plan Toys products are assembled using a certified E-Zero formaldehyde-free glue instead of traditional toxic wood glue.
Organic colour pigments and water-based dyes:
Plan Toys uses the very best environmentally friendly materials available; the organic colours are not only good for children but also for our environment. Plan Toys does not use chemical dyes containing lead or other heavy metals.
Soya-based ink and recycled paper:
Recycled paper and soya-based ink are used for our printed materials. Soya-based ink is more biodegradable and can be recycled more efficiently than standard chemical ink.
