Impossible to miss: these enormous animals have antlers measuring no less than 1.8 metres across and a striking throat pouch. And, surprisingly, they are also excellent swimmers: moose can dive to depths of up to 5 metres to eat aquatic plants such as water lilies. These plants contain sodium, a mineral that is scarce on land in northern regions. They can even close their nostrils to submerge completely!
Build your own 3D moose with this beautiful cardboard model kit from Eugy. You glue the numbered cardboard parts together layer by layer. A creative and sustainable craft kit made from recycled cardboard, perfect for young builders and animal lovers.
