Derreck Dog is a stocky brown dog with a light-coloured belly, short legs, an embroidered frown and two small cream-coloured teeth. He measures 23 × 16 × 21 cm and, thanks to his broad body, sits firmly in place.
Derreck is the neighbourhood’s much-loved postman and won’t let rain, wet snow or large parcels stop him. Very occasionally, things go wrong — he once delivered Timmy Turtle’s shell cleaner to Ricky Rain Frog — but all post arrives safely, sealed and sometimes with a touch of drool on it.
