‘Yellow Submarine’ was released in 1966 on the album ‘Revolver’ and sung by Ringo Starr. Written by Lennon and McCartney, it became the basis for the animated film of the same name in 1968. One of The Beatles’ most cheerful and recognisable songs. The music mechanism is mounted on a small wooden board, giving the melody a louder and fuller sound.
