This wooden box is designed to hold a hand-cranked music mechanism that you fit yourself. A slot in the side leaves room for the crank. The lid is secured with a larger screw and can be slid aside to view the mechanism. The music mechanism is sold separately.
When ordered together with a music mechanism, we try to fit it before sending it. If that is not possible, small screws inside the box allow you to attach it yourself.
