Wooden box in which you can mount a music mechanism yourself.
There are already small screws on the inside.
Should these holes not correspond with the metal base of the music box, the wood is soft enough to secure the screws in any other spot.
On the side is a slot into which the crank fits exactly, allowing you to wind it up to hear the melody play.
On the top is a lid secured with a larger screw; you can slide it aside to see what's happening inside the box.
