Looking for Leola Bear? You'll most likely find her in her studio in South London — surrounded by paintings, sculptures, and fashion designs. If she's not there, she's travelling for inspiration — and the perfect shade of plum.
Leola is a talented, dreamy artist with a habit of reheating the same mug of tea three times. She always loses herself in her work — when inspiration strikes, the hours fly by. Luckily, her nephew Bartholomew Bear is always ready with a fresh tea and a (slightly crushed) plate of biscuits. He knows the drill!
He's also her favourite muse. She's made all his costumes: from the ruby-red outfit for his Heartthrob performance to the Bat Bear cape for a Halloween party. Even his striking Sun Costume was a Leola original, specially designed to give him confidence for his carnival debut.
One day her talent will be recognised. But for now, Leola is happy making magical things for her friends and family.
