Volare (Nel blu dipinto di blu) was written by Domenico Modugno and released in 1958. It won two Grammys, including Record of the Year, as the first non-English language song ever. The song became one of the most covered Italian songs in the world, with versions by Dean Martin, Bobby Rydell and The Gipsy Kings.
